    put the egg down on an eggstand made of the skins of the potatoes and they put the egg down on a basket in the middle of the floor.
    When having their dinner they would all sit around the basket to eat the potatoes and they would peel them with their nails.
    They used to drink the milk out of wooden noggins.
    The people used to drink tea on Easter Sunday and Christmas Day.
    When the tea came out first the people used to bake it as they did not understand how to put the water on it.
    They had no meat only fish. They used to buy herrings and they hung them up over the fire until they were dry.
