  1. About sixty years ago I used often hear the people talking about the prophecy. They said that the day would come when the cars would run without horses, and men would fly in the air; and that men would reach a great height of knowledge; that they'd go as high as they could get, and then they'd go back again and know nothing.
    I used hear them go over these things sixty years ago, and at that time there was no talks of cars or aeroplanes. And see the most of them are after coming to pass.

  2. There is a Ráth up here 'tis called Knock roe (Cnoc Ruadh) and there is money supposed to be hid in it.
    Several people dreamt about it but nowan could get it.
    A crowd of fellows went to dig wan night and they were run out of it by a bull.
