    after the hawk are birds that was codding him. There's none of 'em able to cod him right only the swallows - they're too quick for him and they give him a cruel tormenting. All the swallows don't go away at all We were down wan time in Clonmines, and we saw several swallows in the ould castles & they asleep.
    Sometimes the cuckoo dont go away too, they sleep in ould caves & in ould burrows and places like that.
