happen on the flag again; and the ould woman slipped away during the night and was gone in the morning. They had right to dig away when they were at it; or throw her into the hole dedamned.

There was a man another time and he dreamt that money was buried...

There was a man another time and he dreamt that money was buried in a lios under a flag.
He went to go dig and he rooted up this flag, and he got a crock of gold under it.
Just as he was lifting up the crock, when he looked around there was a man sitting on the edge of the flag.
the man left the crock fall with the fright. "Tis all right," says he "my work is done and he disappeared"
The man took up the crock again and he had his money.
There was a fellow wan time found money, and he dug up a plate with it. There was some writing on the plate in latin, and wan day a poor scholar read it "There's a bigger wan under this" - that's what was written on it. The man went out & dug again and he got the second crock. That happened in Loughnageer.
