    she turned a Catholic with him. She had three or four children for Whitty after. She lived with him for a number of years anyway, and begob the eldest son, Sandy came home, and he had bags of money, and he settled down in the home place. When Sandy came home she left Whitty, and his family & all, and came to live with Sandy and turned Protestant again. And if the devil wasn't waiting for her that night 'tis great work entirely.

  2. There is a place there at this side of Carro' (Carroreigh) they call it the Rowan. A man by the name of Morie Foley has the land now.
    At wan time, oh years & years ago, it belonged to an ould fellow - he was called "Ben of the Ráith"
