- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)three of the chaps that were working in the yard saw him ride into the yard. They ran in to the servants in the kitchen and told them the master was back from the hunt, that they see him go into the stable - that was at the hour he was killed.
They wondered how he could he back so early, so after a while some of them went out to have a look and there was no wan at all there. The next thimg they heard was that he was after getting killed.
Dr. Clarke was out after the hunt the same day and he managed to keep Furlong alive until the priest come and annointed him. I wonder did they see him that time in the yard? I suppose it could be possible all right.
