he became a very great patriot. He devoted much of his time to politics there by neglecting the work on his farm to a great extent.
One day he was taking his usual walk through the fields, pondering how best the freedom of his country could be attained. They day was very warm so he decided to rest for a while in a shady nook in Mulmintra Rath. After a short time he fell asleep and dreamt of Ireland and her troubles. The sun was sinking in the West when he awoke, and he was not a little surprised to see standing a few yards from him the grandest little man with knee-breeches and cocked hat that he had ever seen in his life. For awhile both viewed one another from head to foot without any remarks. Eventually the little man broke the silence.
