'Twas in a hole in the wall he had it. Begob he didn't die anyhow, and he took the money out of the wall and he hid it somewhere around the Bridge, and 'tis there yet. 'Twas no length after that 'til he got a "stroke" and he died in a few days, and wasn't able to tell anywan where it was.
   There is gold buried in Ballyshannon in a cave, and there's a soldier minding it.

   Over at Colfer's of Coolboy they were wan day all inside ating the dinner, when an ould woman came in to them. They asked here to sit down and ate a bit. They hadn't very much they said, but as little as it was she was welcome if she felt like it. They were poor people and
