    The Meenge means that it is a swampy place and there is a river running between it and the long meadow. It flows into Lock Bridget.
    It is bounding Killuran at onesie and Silvergrove on the other side.
    The fairies spring well means that the fairies had a well in the fort in the olden times. People could not drink out of it because it was confined and those who drank out of it would die.
