    that's an account of St. Patrick putting the curse on them when he took it off the chaps.
    They used make grand lights out of the rushes long ago when they had no candles. I seen them meself. The grandest bright light you ever see.

  2. There was a family living in Farey wan time, and the quarest thing you ever see happened there - and 'twas alright after. A man and woman lived there, they were married; and they had a son and a daughter married to each other. Murphys was their names.
    Before the father got married there was a girl had a child for him and he reared the child; and the mother before she got married she had a child for some other fellow and she reared the child.
