    and any shop you'd go into around here if you wanted a penn'orth of méat you'd get it.
    He went into Nolan's public house wan day and he asked for a penn'orth of méat.
    Whoever was in the shop cut the lump of méat for him and weighed it out to him.
    He put a penny on the counter and he took the mate. "Aren't you going to give me any change out of it?" says he. "How's that?" says the person in the shop, "havent you a pennyrt of méat in that?"
    "Begob," says he, "I thought I'd get a little reduction on it when I was taking the whole lump."
