  1. There' an ould man down the road here and he told me that he was often out minding cows, and he a chap, without a shoe nor a stocking on him. And he said when a cow would make her dung that he'd run over to it and stick his two feet in it to warm 'em. Wasn't that tough?

  2. There was a man by the mane of Mc Grath he lived in Old Ross. He was a devil after cards, and he used always carry a pack in his pocket. He'd go anywhere to play or he'd start playing with any one or anytime.
    He was come home this night, and he met a man just as he was at the style going into his own place
