  1. There is a field in Iskaheen, Pariish of Muff, Co.Donegal, called the Forth Field, it belongs to a man named Charles Lynch. Mass was said in it before daybreak in the Penal Times. While Mass was going o n somebody had to hold his coat over the candles to keep them lit. About four men were on watch for the soldiers, and if they saw them coming, they gave the alarm and the people got away safely.
