  1. The names of some of the local roads in our district are the main road which leads from the village of Muff, Co Donegal, to the village of Burnfoot, Co Donegal. Another road is called the Gap road. It leads from the main road through a gap in the hill, called Grannie's Gap to Burnorand, Co Donegal. This Gap is called Grannie's Gap around here, because it runs through Grant's hills. Another one is the Iskaheen road, which leads from Iskaheen Chapel to the main road at Ture, Co Donegal. It was made in the Penal times, and it was made through Iskaheen burying ground.
