  1. Our Holy Wells.
There is a holy well in the glen at Miss Mary Mc. Colgan's farm, Iskaheen, Muff, Co. Donegal. It is called the eye well. If anyone had sore eyes and went to this well they would be cured. They must leave something behind them, and they have to say an "Our Father", and "Hail Mary", three times for Father Mc Loughlin, who blessed the well about one hundred years ago when he was parish priest in Iskaheen. There is a bush growing over the well.
There is another well called the head well, it is also in Mss Mary Mc. Colgan's farm, if you had a sore head and went to this well and rubbed some of the water on your head it would get better. This well was also blessed by Father Mc. Laughlin.
