  1. The cure for warts is the froth that comes from a pot of potatoes boiling on the fire. Another cure for warts is if you are walking through a field and you see a little hole of water in a rock and you put in your finger on which the wart is you will be cured.
    The cure for the ring-worm is the ashes of tabacco.
    If you have the toothache the cure for t is to rub salt or ginger on your gums.
    The cure for a boil is to head a ivy leaf and put it to the boil.
    If it rains on good friday and you collect some of the water, every time you get sick and you take a cup of it you will be cured.
    If you put a fasting spittle on any sore you will be cured.
