    Here's a health to Mr. Doherty you all may know him well
    He lives in Clonmany and he keeps a grand hotel.
    He is a well respected man the country all does know.
    And he would praise these Pollin boys wherever he would go.
    Not to conclude and finish I mean to stop my pen
    If I had time and learning I would praise them well.
    For there the boys that fear no noise and very well its known
    And on the banks of Tullagh right well its known.

    As I went one evening all in the month of May
    To take the air about me down by yon sandy sea
    Its there you'll see some fine young men
    And to this very day will take their lass upon the grass around Sweet Binion Bay.

    Come all ye boys of Binion, I pray be well aware
    Dont cast you eye on any eye that wears golden hair
    for if you do you'll surely rue that you soon will see
