  1. Come all ye gallant young men, I hope you will draw near.
And likewise pay attention to those few lines you'll hear.
Concerning these young heroes, that played on Tullagh shore.
And run the hale to Pollin to renow their fame once more.
    II
Those Polline boys went over to play on Tullagh strand
They all stripped off prepared for work with their camans in their hands
They played like gallant young men, most charming for to view.
There were some with white and black shirts and others red and blue
But these Tullagh young men they thought them to betray
But soon they were mistaken and they showed them how to play
    III
You know the Tullagh and Dunally boys were all joined in one
They fought to conquer Pollin boys that day on Tullagh strand
These Pollin boys undaunted were, their hearts being stout and bold
By these Tullagh and Dunally boys they would (bold) not be controlled.
I think these Tullagh young men their boasting may be over
For they never will be a match to the boys of Pollin shore.
