  1. Fairies used to be very common about Rooskey. Sometimes music is heard at Glebe.
    This is a story that was told about a fairy. One night when an old woman was making the supper a knock came to the door. The old woman went down to the door and she saw the little man standing there. He asked for the loan of a bowl of meal to make the supper and that he would give it back again.
    He got the meal.
    Next morning when the people of the house rose the bowl of meal was sitting on the door-step.
