  1. The games I most frequently play are Hide and go Seek, Tig, London Bridges, A Great Big Ship, Wallflowers and some others.
In Summer I go to the wood for nuts and crack them. During this season I play "Beds". In this game you must hop on one leg from one bed (which is drawn with chalk on the flags) to another, throwing a stone into each bed before you enter it. This stone must be picked up on the return journey. I go picking blackberries in Autumn.
In Winter I play games such as Hide and go Seek. These make one very warm. I go skating also and throwing snow-balls in the frost and snow.
Indoors I play games such as "Pookeen" and "Luds".
I read and knit when night comes until before-time.
