There was a man coming back the road one night with a horse and car. A fairy came out over the ditch. He went into the car. He was dressed in black. He came out of the car again and sat on the road-side. He started throwing stones at him. He came out over the ditch farther back. He went into the car. He came out of the car again and he saw him no more. When he went home his mother was dead.
