  1. I
When the golden sun sits in the west and the toils of long day is over.
Though the road may be long or the length of a song
I forgot I was weary before. It is where the green shadows fall
I will come to contentment and rest.
In the toil of the day is all stormed away in my little grey home in the west.
    II
There are two hands that welcome me in
There are two lips I am burning to kiss
There are two eyes that shine just because they are mine and a thousand things other men miss.
Its a corner of heaven itself.
Though its only a tumble down nest.
Oh though love brooding there no place could compare with my little grey home in the west.
