  1. Long ago the people used to be going to the Kilns very early in the morning for loads of lime. A girl had died about a week before that. So the people used to be going every morning. The place was very lonesome. One morning as they were going by. The girl spoke to one man but he did not answer her. No one spoke to her for a long time. So she was very surprised. One morning a man got courage and he spoke to her. She asked him why he did not speak to her all the time. So she told him to tell her father at home that she owed a shopkeeper as small little debt. She had bought a pair of stockings
