    The bow used be seen sitting on a style outside a farmer's house in Ballyhogue. She was there for three or four weeks crying and lamenting, and then the woman of the house got vexed, and she got the gun and went out and fired a shot at the bow, and the next morning there was a big lump of jelly in the place where the bow used be sitting The next week this woman's brother died, so it was a very unlucky thing for her to fire a shot at the bow.
