If two people of the one name got married...

In the time of the Rebellion there was a man ploughing in a field in Ballyhogue, and Cap. Ogle and his men were passing and they fired on him out of sport. The man was raging and he went to the General who was over Ogle and reported him.
The General said that this work couldn't continue, so he sent for Ogle and told him off. He reduced his pay by half, and he had to do with it that way for a year.
