    There was a man named Martin Hughes and he used be always raving about gold...

    happened to hit something hard and then he discovered the crock of gold. He stripped the lid and opened it and saw the money. He left it there and covered up the hole and sat down one of the men came back and the other two were up to some kind of a dodge. Martain said he was going to leave the job so, that it was no use looking the money that night. So they went home and Martain came the next night and took all the money and fooled them all.
