    the funeral was over and all things were settled up, the husband went into the solicitor and asked him about the will. When the will was read it was found that she had left all her money to charitable purposes and had left the farm to her brother. The poor fellow couldn't believe his ears when the will was read. He was as poor now as ever he was before he got married at all.
    Not long after this the girl came home from England and when she found out that the place and the money didn't belong to them she was greatly knocked about. but on the other hand she was delighted that her boy was free again. They knew that they couldn't get married for a year after the old woman's death anyhow, but when the year was up
