    There is a great estate down in the south of the County.

    the evictions already referred to he said from the alter that in the course of time all the tennants would be back again in Ballymagyr. Now the lands of Ballymagry have been devided and there are now twenty-three tennants in Ballymagyr. These are names on the estates that were held by the tennants long ago, such as Crean's estate Murphy's estate Magrath's estate etc.

    Biaconi, the man who invented the stage coach had a hotel...

    Bianconi, the man who invented the stage coach had a hotel in Ballymagyr. Some of the old roads are to be seen still and there are people in the village of Kilmore who could tell you all about them and could trace them all over the county.
    The ruins of the old hotel are to be seen to this day.
