  2. Mrs Little was the name of this woman one of her eldest sons was out at a party. The baby was in the cradle. He was six months. The mother was anxious to have her eldest boy in before her husband came in. Leaving the baby in the cradle she went to fetch her son. On the way she met a woman wearing a grey shawl. The woman said quietly "go back" and then she disappeared. Mrs Little took little notice of her and went on her way. When she came back with her son the baby was missing from its cradle and after they had searched about an hour they heard a cry from the back hall and when they looked the baby was found
