  2. First the flan is sowed. It is sowed in the month of May. It is pulled in the Autumn and is made into bundles. Then it is put into a flan dam to water. It is taken out of the dam in a week's time and spread out to dry. When it is dry it is lifted and made into bundles called "beets" Then it is put on the house.
