  1. Some time ago there lived a very funny character named Ned. He was grown up when he went to Confession for the first time. The priest could not quite get him to tell any of his sins, except to say that he robbed a bird's nest in Dernavogey.
    Next Sunday the priest was scolding about ignorance of some youth concerning how to make their Confession. He quoted the words of Ned, without naming the person, of course. But when Ned heard him saying this, he stood up and said aloud "If I had tell you the rest you would tell them too."
