    the cure of almost every disease - the Holy Well in Brosnna being famed for the cure of sore eyes. Certain Herbs were applied for the cure of such diseases as sciatica.
    All these old cures and customs are, how ever, fast disappearing out of the country owing to the advance of science and medicine.
