    the whooping - cough they get some bread and give it to the donkey. While the donkey is eating the bread the child is lifted over the donkey thee times. If there are any crumbs of bread left give them to the child to eat. This is supposed to cure the child.
    A sore throat:- When they have a sore throat they bleed their ankles and put in a poultice of garlic on it. That is supposed to cure it.
    Sunburnd:-When they get sunburned they rub buttermilk on it, and it will soothe it.
    Cold on your lip:- When they get the cold on their lip they rub a small taste of the cream of milk on it.
    They also say that a taste of whiskey rubbed on it will cure it.
    Evil:- The seventh son in a family is supposed to be able to cure the "evil"
    A sore throat:- They have another cure for a sore throat. They put some whiskey in a bottle. They then put some garlic
