  1. There are lots of forts ad "Liosins" in this townland of Gallowshill.
    The People used to say the fairies lived in them.
    There is one fort in particular and there are lot of old stories told about it.
    Here is one:-
    It is said that there is a woman seen tin that fort. Anyone that would pass by that fort at midnight would see her, and a crowd of little red men with her.
    It is said the man that owned the land about a hundred years ago used to see her.
