  1. Once there lived in the village of Carrowmacshane, a great mower, named Tomas Healy. His fame spread far and near.
    One day, a man employed him said, that it would take himself a week to mow it, so he said he would pay him a week's wages. The Carrowmashane man started to mow early in the morning, and when evening came he had the field of meadow mowed. So he had the week's wages earned in one day.
