    There was a land-lord for every townland long ago. They were very severe on the poor people. The landlord had a lot of land around here. All the land that the land-lord of this place had was called Heathfield.
    The last land-lord that was on this place was Captain Newsom. he was not as severe as the land-lords that came before him. He never evicted anyone.
    The land-lord that came before him was a very cruel man. His name was Captain Bourke. He evicted a lot of poor
