  1. Long ago there used to be a lot of big stones and Crosses put up in memory of brave men. There is one big rock, not very far from our school, and it is said there are two soldiers buried under it. It is in a green field, and the man that owns it, never tills around it, because if he did, nothing would grow near it. There is a river running along side it.
    There is also a cross in this place where there was a man killed, and everyone who passes by it, throws a stone near it, and there is a big pile of stones there now.
