  1. There are a lot of old stones and flag-stones standing in this district.
    There is one in a field opposite our school. The man that owns the field is Thomas Kearney. It is a very high stone; it is about six feet in height, and about three in width, and the people say, it is six feet more down under in the ground. It is said there were two students buried under it.
