  1. Long ago there lived a king in Egypt whose name was Herod, the Great. He wanted no one to be king but himself.
    He heard that the King of the world was born. The young King was Our Blessed Lord.
    Herod sent out soldiers to get the new-born King but they could not find him anywhere as they could not know him from any other child.
