  1. There is a fort in this district which is called baile bhúirce.
    The reason why it was so-called was that there dwelt there three brothers of Boarkes in the long ago days.
    They were three robbers and they used to steal the gold from the people who had any.
    The old people tell of a great plan that was made to do away with these robbers, so here it is:-
    One night, as they sat around the fire, they heard a queer knock at the door. They all looked at each other in wonder. One of them opened the door to let in
