  1. The people long ago had different food to that we have now.
    They used only eat three meals each day, the breakfast, the dinner, and the supper.
    They would have stirabout for the breakfast.
    The woman of the house used have to get up early in the morning and crush the oats for the breakfast. Then she used to boil it, and when it was boiled she used to call in the men to their breakfasts, as they used to be out in the fields working before their breakfasts in those times. They used to eat it with butter-milk or thick milk.
