  1. There are not many old houses in this district.
    There are three old ruins of houses in Danesfort.
    Long ago the houses were built with stones and doibh-buidhe, and the houses were thatched with rushes.
    There were no chimneys on the houses, only a little hole in the roof to let out the smoke. There was no light long ago only the rush light.
    Long ago all the houses had small windows and half doors in them.
    The people used to have a bed in the kitchen.
