  1. There was supposed to be a crock of gold under a head-stone in Kilboot grave-yard. There is a black cat minding it.
    One night a voice came to a man who lived near the place. It told him to go to the graveyard and to wait there until the first mass was going on in Kilbrickle. The voice also told another man to go to the chapel, and at the time of the consecration to go outside and fire a shot.
