  1. There was a woman living in Kilbreeckle about 40 yrs. ago. She was evicted out of her home because her husband spied on some soldiers. When she was leaving her house she said she would haunt Kilreeckle dead and alive. She went to some other house and after a while she died. Afterwards the people of Kilreeckle saw her going from her home to the chaple every night between twelve and one o'clock every night. She used to enter the house every night and if anybody slept there they would feel the house shaking. The
