  1. Long ago the people used to make a lot of home made toys for their children. They used to make tops out of spools, by cutting it in the shape of a top, and by putting a nail in it. They used to make dolls out of sticks, by putting a turnip for a head and two coals of fire for two eyes. They also used to make prams out of boxes, by putting two spools for two wheels, and by putting two handles on it.
