  1. About the year 1897 two farmers left their home to take stock to a fair. As it is still usual they remained up the previous night and at a very early hour - after partaking of tea made for them by their woman folk started off with their cattle.
    The night was very calm but dark and both women remained chatting by the fire for a while. When suddenly and without warning the door was blown in and harness and other heavy articles about the kitchen were blown about as if by a violent storm, and as suddenly calm
