    Up to the present day lights are seen on this fort, because it is fairy people who live there.
    The neighbouring fort in Cornagee is a "fairy fort" also. In olden times there was a man passing the way, and he cut a hazel stick. Just beside it a fairy head appeared and said "you cut the spray" three times in succession and then said "yourself and Mark Tahon will die the same day."
    After Mark Tahon departed Some of his neighbours went to see how the man that cut the spray was doing, and he was departing also.
    After this nobody ever interfered with these forts again.
