  1. Entered 22nd July 1936 Killassnet Apparitions alleged T. Kirrane
    Sunday July 12th 1936 a child named Rooney says she saw Blessed Virgin appear dressed in pink. Treated as a joke by her mother.
    Friday July 17th 1936 Rumour spreads and crowds gather around the river or stream where the Blessed Virgin is supposed to appear.
    July 17th - July 20th Crowds from surrounding countryside gather near scene of alleged apparition interviewing the little girl aged 12. Question are put to the Vision and answered and vision, though it can be seem by one child only (+ can be head by a little boy) appears while crowd is gathered. Rosary + other prayers are continually being recited by crowds. In answer to question dictated by Fr. McNiff and put to the Vision by child the visions says "I am the mother of - (last word was not caught) In answer to question as to whither Ireland was heading Vision bowed her head + smiled. In answer to why the Vision appeared to her (ie child Rooney) the Vision answeres "Because you are a good living girl." Vision also instructs child to find a fry spot and told her the date, how and time of a well appearing here. In the event of a suitable dry spot not being fount the Vision lo to pick on herseld.
    Considerable doubt prevails as to the genuineness
