  1. As I went through a field of wheat I picked up something good to eat. It was neither fish, flesh, blood not lone but I kept it till it walked its lone?
    An Egg.
    Four stidd standers, four down hangers, two lookers, two crookers and a swagger?
    A Cow.
    A head like a thimble and a tail like a rat. you would guess for ever but you could not guess that.
    A Pipe.
    It is black, it's white and read all over?
    A Newspaper.
    As round as an apple, as plump as a ball, a split in the middle and hair round it all.
    An Eye.
    A girl has it, a boy hasn't it. Luke has it before, Paul has it behind and Micky Kelly has it twice in one spot?
    The letter "L"
    Patches upon patches with no sticks?
    A head of Cabbage.
    What goes up the ladder with its head down?
