  1. In they year nineteen thirty two a young girl named Rose McBrien was drowned while bathing. When she came home from nine o'clock mass in the month of June she and her mistress went to bathe.While Rose was bathing the tide arose and owning to her being out too far she was drowned. The beach man went out to save her but he was too late.
